External Police Fleet Tests
As part of the development work for Prestone Cor-Guard Extended Life formulation which uses OAT technology, the service life of the new formulation needed to be determined. To do so, a series of outside police vehicles were run on the technology to determine an initial baseline for the product. This document is a brief summary of the test conditions and results of the testing.

Internal Ford Fusion Fleet Test
As part of the development work for Prestone Cor-Guard Extended Life formulation which uses OAT technology, the service life of the new formulation needed to be determined. After a series of outside police vehicles were used to determine an initial baseline for the product, it was determined that the technology should be further tested under a more controlled test environment versus a known reference fluid. To do so, Prestone decided that the best fleet test protocol option to follow to evaluate the useful life (service time) of the coolant was the Ford protocol.
